About Us
RBS FOUNDATION is a registered, non-governmental, and non-profit organisation working for the emancipation of deprived and marginalized sections of the society, with a special focus on women and children. The organization was registered as a trust under the under Indian Trust Act 1882, on 25th Nov. 2019 RBS FOUNDATION was originate by those people who always put upon a question related to development and related matter. Those people always creative and aggressive and their thoughts make a many people organisation. RBS directly related to ground level people. Different place different issues RBS always highlights and heartily related with them. RBS’s trustees have much experienced in development field like water, health, education, agriculture, livelihood etc. The experience is 3 years working in different development areas. After legal registration RBS decided that area will be fix where they work in package way. So work will be done in southern Rajasthan where majority of tribe’s lives. RBS decided they work in southern Rajasthan.
Our Target Operational Areas
RBS FOUNDATION has a strong grassroots presence in the tribal predominant societies of Rajasthan with a prime focus in the districts of Udaipur, Dungarpur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Bhilwara, Sirohi, Rajnandgaon and Chittorgarh and also have presence in the bordering districts of the state of Gujarat and agriculturally rich districts of the region and tribal predominant degraded region. The primary concern of RBS has always been livelihoods promotion but at the same time we do support other development initiatives like skill development, vocational education, water & sanitation, health & nutrition, child development & woman empowerment, organic farming and formation of Farmers Producers Organizations leading to the benefit of the rural community and early artisans to enhance earnings and watershed and water conservation and solar energy promotion, etc in the existing action areas. Our major concern is that the majority marginalized community can earn enough to live a life of dignity and enjoys at least the minimum quality standards. Our thematic areas of work have broadened over the journey of fifteen years.
We have been working in the poverty pockets of Pindwara & Abu block of Sirohi where each village consist around 100 to 300 families. Till date we have covered 20000 families with an impact on 100000 people. The area is having 75% population of Bhil Garasiya & Meena Tribe. The PMVDVK development project is being implemented in the selected blocks of Block of Pindwara Thesil & Abu Thesil
